A/Z Ranked Among State’s Top Contractors by CSA

The Connecticut Subcontractors Association (CSA) has selected A/Z as a top-rated contractor during a recent ceremony held at the Hawthorne Hotel in Berlin, CT.

Since 2011, the CSA has ranked general contractors based on anonymous surveys issued to subcontractors throughout the State of Connecticut. This year, general contractor firms were evaluated via a Report Card summarizing the results of the anonymous surveys.

A/Z was ranked among the top three contractors in the state. The ranking was determined based on a variety of factors that include:

• Management of the delivery of materials to the project.
• General oversight and control of the project.
• Compliance with statutory, code and inspection requirements.
• Coordination and management of work schedules.
• Management of the requisition and billing process.
• Timely payments to subcontractors.
• Knowledge and experience in performing the work.
• Change order management.
• Overall performance.
• Close-out and final payment/retainage.

Typically, A/Z performs hundreds of projects throughout the state and the surrounding region every year in collaboration with local subcontractors.
