Penske’s New PDI and Sprinter Center
The continued success of Inskip’s Automall in Warwick, RI operated by Penske Automotive Group (PAG) has prompted the company to further expand its ten-building retail campus. In recent years, the need has emerged to make on-site aesthetic / functional repairs, paint, and detail vehicles to PAG standards as they are prepared for sale. PAG identified an adjacent building to support these emergent needs, and it engaged A/Z to serve as its Construction Manager.
A/Z completely transformed this unoccupied fitness center into a fully-featured repair, detailing, and support facility. Selective demolition led to the installation of new mechanical systems, reconfigured power and lighting, and the specialized equipment for each bay. The team built-out a masking area, a rapid repair area, a paint booth, four sprinter bays, an alignment bay, seven vehicle lifts, three wash bays, six dry detail bays, and two photo booths.
