Delivering Campus Lab Upgrades

A leading university engaged A/Z to upgrade a key research facility on its operational campus. The project was designed to create a new LEED Gold-compliant working environment for students and faculty. A/Z’s team performed selective demolition in the active building to make way for a combination of mobile dry benches and fixed wet benches with fume hoods. Additionally, the project required significant utility upgrades to support the new layout of the space; these included a new rooftop AHU as well as reconfigured HVAC, lab gas, fire protection, electrical, and teledata systems
