Chiller Upgrade at CCHS Surgicenter

ChristianaCare operates the 25,000 SF Roxana Cannon Arsht Surgicenter, an outpatient surgical facility, in Wilmington, DE. It partnered with A/Z to upgrade the cooling capacity at this critical, active facility.

A/Z’s team was tasked with replacing the facility’s two existing chillers with two new 150-ton Multistack chillers. Due to the continuously operational nature of the facility, one chiller was removed, replaced, and brought operational at a time. Rooftop air coolers and associated MEPs including chilled water and refrigerant piping were installed to support the upgraded system.
