When A/Z completed the relocation of a biologics pilot plant from their 45 NYA building, the Therapeutic Monoclonal Antibodies / Manufacturing Sciences and Technologies (TmAbs / MSAT) group was presented with the opportunity to make use of the vacated space. A/Z is managing the reconfiguration of the empty laboratory and office space in this area in order to support Sanofi’s existing and future antibody programs. The renovated area will also allow for greater experimental flexibility to investigate major changes to existing Sanofi legacy enzyme manufacturing processes. Five new flexible technical labs will be built-out for analytical, media / buffer, pilot plant, upstream, and downstream operations on the first floor. Additional labs and offices on the second floor are expected to support more than 75 MSAT research personnel.
