A/Z provided electrical, mechanical, and civil services to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for the multi-phased data center renovation project at their New London, CT location. The first phase of the project encompassed the installation of a new ceiling system, fire suppression system, ductwork, modifications to the fire alarm system and installation of empty conduits for phase two power and network connectivity. Phase two included the construction of concrete pads to support the new generator and electrical room modifications. Installations for this project included a Cummins 400 kW diesel-fired generator and a UPS, a CRAC/UPS/generator control system, a generator automatic transfer switch, wiring, lighting and electrical service, fire alarm devices, and a utility transformer pad.
