A/Z and Dow Chemical have maintained an ongoing relationship since the early 1970s. The Facility Services Program was established to support the operational and emergency needs of the Allyn’s Point Plant, which consists of Dow Chemical, Styron LLC and Americas Styrenics. A/Z was selected as their light industrial and general maintenance support vendor. The annual agreement is predicated on safety, quality performance, and cost-of-services and now supports assignments from operations, preventative maintenance, small capital projects, and light industrial services. The program encompasses over 2.3 million square feet of specialty chemical manufacturing space and also includes departmental re-organizations, repairs, and full-scale rehabilitation projects.
