Lawrence +Memorial Hospital’s new mammography center was the first fully digital system in use at any hospital in eastern Connecticut or western Rhode Island. The new Selenia equipment, selected by L+M and its radiologists, provides improved visibility through imaging technology that eliminates the effects of light diffusion. A/Z’s team executed the conversion of an existing storage facility into a technician room including the addition of a locker room area and filing system. Two former mammography suites were renovated and converted into the new digital mammography rooms.
