Straight Arrow, the consumer products company behind the Mane ‘n Tail brand, engaged A/Z to help expand its facilities in Easton, PA. This expansion was centered on the development of a new manufacturing facility to support the growing demand for its products. A/Z provided design-build services for this exciting initiative. Our team began by collaborating with Straight Arrow to conduct a preliminary design study that focused on identifying the company’s goals and then developing a basis of design to achieve them. The result of these efforts was a program that efficiently and responsively fulfilled Straight Arrow’s current and future objectives. The campus itself underwent major improvements that ranged from updated access roads, parking lots, and loading dock areas to new storm water management provisions, as well as a walking trail around the perimeter of the site. A new 20,000 sf addition was constructed at the north end of the existing facility to house manufacturing and specialty storage amenities. Existing warehouse and office spaces were renovated and refreshed to support the company’s changing needs. Additionally, the warehouse areas were upgraded with an expanded loading dock to accommodate new material flows.
