When BYK USA’s critical manufacturing building began to reach its capacity, the company teamed up with A/Z to design and construct a new production facility. BYK is the additives and instrumentation arm of the multi-billion dollar global chemical leader, ALTANA AG. The company’s unique vertical process systems span the height of the three-story, 55,000 sf facility to support the manufacture of additives, coatings, adhesives, resins, and inks. IDEA Engineering supported A/Z in the design of this approximately $50 million program.
