Over 36 labs were involved in the renovations executed within Sanofi’s operational Cambridge, MA facility. A/Z provided construction management services for the work, which included architectural and MEP modifications throughout several BSL-2 laboratories, cell culture, fermentation, and bio-therapeutics suites, molecular and cellular biology labs, and a digital imaging area. New biosafety cabinets were installed and existing fume hoods were relocated. The new configuration of air circulation and filtration systems supports the evolving research needs of Sanofi’s end users. Additionally, the project team was responsible for the installation of new flooring, ceilings, and millwork as well as repainting all areas.
