The Bay Tower Medical Center, which is owned by Rhode Island real estate firm The Discovery Group, LLC, was reconfigured to house the Tavares Pediatric & Education Center. This center provides severely multi-disabled, medically fragile patients with special education programs and medical health services as well as many other developmental programs and services. In addition to a new plumbing and roof drain system, A/Z’s project team was responsible for installing a complete medical gas distribution system for the two floors. This included new equipment, distribution piping, point-of-use wall outlets, and a certification for the newly installed system. The project was executed with minimal impact to the ongoing operations of the Bay Tower Medical Center.
