Cardiac Catheterization Lab Opens At Westerly Hospital

As part of the ongoing work at Westerly Hospital, Yale New Haven Health engaged A/Z to upgrade an existing space into a new cardiac catheterization suite. The new  laboratory required a reconfiguration of the MEP systems to support the state-of-the-art Phillips imaging equipment. New finishes throughout the suite also include lead-lined walls to prevent radiation exposure to staff and patients. The suite also includes a multi-bay recovery area. In addition to the work inside the facility, a new roof-mounted air handler was added.
