Upgrades Continue at Brown University

A/Z is proud to have been chosen to design and implement critical upgrades to Brown University’s Center for Biomedical Engineering. Brown has prioritized a selected portfolio of mechanical/HVAC infrastructural upgrades and improvements. A/Z is supporting technical study for optimization of approach, develop a value oriented detailed design with estimating, resulting in a comprehensive program of project scopes.

The program consists of renovations to existing MEP’s, HVAC, and the building envelope without disruption to research, animal care facilities and academic operations.  Upgrades include installing a booster pump to the domestic water system, chilled water piping modification and upgrades, exhaust upgrades to the animal care facility, retrofitting the exhaust infrastructure to the biomedical facility, and a comprehensive HVAC upgrade to the entire biomedical complex.
