A/Z was engaged by United Natural Foods, Inc. to fit-out the company’s new 3,000 sf data center and integrated a new emergency power infrastructure at the Dayville, CT facility. In addition to the critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure behind the servers and redundant uninterruptible power supply (UPS), A/Z’s project team also installed a 600 kW Generac generator to provide instantaneous backup power to the critical information systems in the event of an emergency. The generator underwent comprehensive testing following its installation to ensure it would perform with unquestionable reliability. Additionally, A/Z’s team also assisted with the design and layout of cabling in the existing office complex and the 50,000 sf warehouse.
